eBid Newsletter July 2009
Welcome to our July newsletter. To say we’ve been busy this month would be an understatement. The move to Dallas has gone as smoothly as can be expected, a few DNS hiccups but other than that we were down for a very limited amount of time.
Our move to Dallas has allowed us to upgrade our server hardware, upgrade our network and reduce our hosting costs. Take a look at the site and I hope you’ll agree it is running fast and smooth.
We are about 50% through our redesign build with the bulk of our time being spent building the new look design into our template system, our aim is to make the site simple, clean and effective giving both buyers and sellers a much better experience. The site’s a lot whiter with green and purple as the main colours.
Our uploads to Google Shopping are running smoothly and automatically. They are uploaded within a few minutes of auctions starting and appear in search results within a couple of hours. Don’t forget to add a BuyNow price to make sure your items are uploaded to get extra exposure.
Tip of the Month
Add your most commonly used auction data into “My Defaults”. Create “sets” of data that you can call into the listing form at the click of a button to save you copying and pasting over and over. Visit My eBid for more information.
