At 8.30pm on Saturday March 28th lights will be turned off in 930 cities across 80 countries. With global landmarks taking part in the event such as Sydney Opera House, The Eiffel Tower in paris, Table Mountain in Cape Town, Nelson's Column in London to name just some. To take part you just have to switch off any lights in your home, office etc for 60 minutes at 8.30pm on Saturday March 28th it's that easy. 2009 is a crucial year for climate change with world leaders meeting in Copenhagen to agree a new international climate deal that will come into force when the first phase of the Kyoto treaty expires in 2012...
